What was the motivation behind starting Copper Roof Media and how did you come up with the name?
After starting the year in a class titled “Integrated Media”, we decided to make the transition into a business. We brainstormed many names and finally landed on “Copper Roof Media” which referred to the copper roofs across our school. Our goal was to provide our school as well as local businesses and nonprofits with help in marketing and advertising. We specialize in social media consulting, video production, and graphic design.
How helpful has your new website turned out to be for your work?
Thanks to TechBear, we have created a website which displays an overview of the business, our personal portfolios and our work. Now, anyone can learn about our vision and passion.
What difference did working with TechBear make for the Copper Roof Media team?
TechBear served as a mentor and example for the future of our company. Not only did they set up our social media accounts and our website, but they were there to help us through any problems in the technology or the building process. Without them, we would have been forced to learn website building on our own.
What are your plans for future growth?
We plan to continue this business throughout our high school careers. Although we have a small team, efficiency and communication allow us to keep many clients. Being a young high school group, we have the time to potentially grow our business into something much bigger.
