Zoho Mail is a secure and responsive email solution with a plethora of features that make busy workdays easier to manage.
It offers three paid plans starting at $1/user, but it also has a free option targeting start-ups and small businesses on a tighter budget.
The free plan comes with web access and free mobile apps. It is available for up to five users. You can create custom domain-based email addresses for every user, and set up other email accounts inside the app for sending and receiving emails.
It includes 5GB mail storage per user – a sufficient amount for a start. Email attachments are limited to 25MB.
In addition to the attractive user interface you can label your emails with different colors – very handy for organizing your correspondence into different categories. You can also set filters to delete or file your incoming mail based on different criteria.
The message templates – frequently used phrases – are also very useful and you can easily insert them into your emails for faster replies. You can add and manage multiple signatures as well.
Even though the free plan is limited compared to its paid versions, it has ample features for start-ups with only a handful of employees and is a great starting point – you can upgrade to their affordable paid plans once your business gets bigger.
